Athena—Branding Campaign
Athena Controls, a developer of flight dynamics, engineering and control technologies and systems, asked JANSON to help it develop a new image and implement a communications program that would support this goal. In response, JANSON fast-tracked a new branding program that Athena debuted at numerous industry trade shows in 2004. The elements of the program included a new logo, tagline, Web site, public relations support, collateral and advertising. Our approach for Athena is forward-looking, one that captures the entrepreneurial nature and technological superiority of its solution and positions the company for long-term growth. The look and brand elements we selected evoke strength and experience but also possess elasticity. In other words, as the company evolves, the brand has the built-in flexibility to accommodate multidirectional growth. The successful launch of the branding initiative has resulted in Athena asking JANSON to take on a much larger role and to function as its corporate communications department. This responsibility will include executing an aggressive public relations program, enhancing trade show activities, developing additional creative, expanding the company's online presence and also developing a plan for product line expansion into the general aviation market. |
