Army PEO Missiles & Space

The Army PEO Missiles and Space (PEO M&S) in Hunstville, Alabama,  identified the requirements to elevate its program office and support  capabilities through a strategically focused branding and communications  framework. This effort included the development of branding strategies and  communication mechanisms that addressed the relevancy and critical role of next  generation missile defense technology.

JANSON was given a specific task to develop a branding and strategic communications  plan to:

  • Guide  local and national efforts for image development, messaging identification and  key audience mapping.
  • Develop  an approach for enhancing Congressional, DOD and industry understanding of PEO  M&S core competencies in Army tactical and air defense missiles.
  • Expand  the Huntsville community's  awareness of the PEO's mission and economic contributions, as well as current  and future personnel challenges.
  • Leverage  the strong relationships with Congressional delegations in all four states of  operation.
  • Develop  a branding architecture that includes a strategy for "smart" branding—both  internally and externally focused.
  • Structure  an internal communication program that successfully engaged the current staff  at every level in the organization's vision for the future.

The  success of the critical Phase One effort provided by JANSON has resulted in  increased PEO leadership support and continued funding of the strategic  communications program.
